    At this time, we will be using our platform to amplify voices from the Black and African American community at Microsoft.

    Look, this is a hard problem to solve, and you're going to hear terms like activism and things that sound like you can make a difference safely from the sidelines. To make a real difference, you're going to have to figure out what you stand for and then stand for it, every day, 24/7, regardless. As long as you're consistent in how you model that message and how you live that reality, then people will know where you are coming from. You'll be consistently living your values out loud every day. In my honest opinion, that's what makes you a potential ally. All I'm asking from you, from anyone, is honest, intentional, internal consistency. Think about what that means to you before you commit to a course of action.
