You're getting close to my personally observed threshold of 5 replies in each direction, after which point the policy calls for the Twitter convo to cease until later resumed in person over beers.

I don’t understand how a tree can be on top of someone’s living room without roots coming out of the ceiling.

This is very confusing, the Paris metropolitan area is much less dense than the historic core, but we're comparing it to the entire Seattle metro area. This is not apples to apples.

How can things not be corrupt when we create an absurdly long and complicated (and usually subjective) process to get anything done in this city? has also pointed this out recently.

This might be a good time to talk about why we have to file separate building permits to Public Works to make minor sidewalk changes that take months and months to approve even if you are using typical details that should be approved over the counter anywhere else

If you live in California I’d avoid yelling at Iowa for not having a result yet, since we aren’t going to have final counts for weeks after the primary here. Our reason is much better, but the media won’t care.

All y'all tweeting tonight about how caucuses are terrible: this is basically how we handle public input for planning decisions. See the problem?

My piece on a new study that suggests many cities spent the past few years trying to ignore the pressure for so-called granny flats. Now? Accessory units “are much more on city radars," says one state official.

Hearing establishment Democrats complain about demographics (race, age, and class) this AM because Bernie Sanders may win it? HILLARIOUS. Yes we should not start the presidential campaign in one of the least diverse states in the U.S. But LOL to caring now
