It's allowing ourselves to be conditioned (manipulated) by big tech companies, believing the only way to succeed on their platforms is to crank out even more content and try all kinds of tricks + hacks to get our stuff seen, to get more reach, to grow our following, etc.🤯

I see it myself in the feeds now - I'm on FB & IG a LOT (more than I care to admit, haha 🤪) & invariably there's a lot less content. So, the algorithms keep showing me totally RANDOM posts - yes, I know that's the whole Recommendation/Discovery Engine at work, but still.

Facebook’s ‘Show more’ / ‘Show less’ feed control buttons have been in test mode for awhile. Now, they’re rolling out more widely.
The more control you have over your feeds the better, IMO!!
