The enneagram is a great (tentative) diagnostic tool that therapists can use to track the unique self-image concerns of the 9 personality types. The typology allows us to see how traumatic events manifest, and what negative thoughts should be addressed via EMDR reprocessing.

That's how I learned about it, through my therapist. Was really eye-opening in how spot on it is.

Interestingly, it was two boomers who introduced me & my co-workers to Enneagrams a couple of years ago.
