Hi @TeamYouTube I'm currently trying to log back in to a very old account of mine but the last time I did I logged in through my username. Now I've forgotten the email I used and my password doesn't seem to work. Is there really nothing I can do to get it back?

I can't recall what the email was that I used back then. Since I used to login with my username I probably didn't have much of a reason to remember it. I also tried the legacy account method however as I said, the password I entered doesn't work. I'm 90% sure it's the right one

Hmm, if it's a legacy channel, you need to link it to a Google Account to access it. Here's how: https://yt.be/help/Bdho . Also, if you don’t remember your old YouTube password, unfortunately there is no password recovery option for these accounts.

According to this site it says if created before 2009 and not used since 2011. My channel was created in January 2011 and its last upload in August 2012. Does that change anything?

To clarify, if a channel is created before May 2009 is considered to be a legacy account. You can try recovering the account by following the steps shared in the previous tweet. Hope this helps.

It doesn't,unfortunately due to having made the channel when I was a kid it lacks a phone number so I can't use that as ID. Simply knowing what email I used would help but I assume such information you can't just tell me. Sadly the twitter seems as automated as your help pages.
