Democrats were hoping that they'd get greater clarity from Manchin and Sinema after today's back to back meetings with the president. Manchin returned from his meeting saying he did not give Biden a top line number and that he made“no commitments from my standpoint.”
The back-and-forth between Manchin and Sinema is making some Democrats anxious. Murphy: "What I know is that the longer these debates hang out there the easier it is for the opposition to mislabel and twist what we’re trying to do"
