Democrats were hoping that they'd get greater clarity from Manchin and Sinema after today's back to back meetings with the president. Manchin returned from his meeting saying he did not give Biden a top line number and that he made“no commitments from my standpoint.”

That’s called bad faith. Once she gets her bill she has all the leverage in tanking the big bill. Progs know that and it looks like they’re not budging.
