But bits of The Lobster were 'hard going', to put it mildly. Half the cinema walked out at the infamous toaster scene. But I stayed
And by staying I felt my own opinion of myself inflate. Suddenly I was an intellectual. ("The toaster was a metaphor for blahdeeblah")

But everyone is saying that The Sacred Deer yoke is WORSER than The Lobster in terms of 'unsettling-ness'

It’s incredible! Go and see it. There are many, many (terrifying) metaphors in Sacred Deer, but you won’t take your eyes off the screen!
