Now! Question: should I go to the Sacred Deer yoke? I liked The Lobster and was proud of myself because it made me seem 'interesting' 1/3

But bits of The Lobster were 'hard going', to put it mildly. Half the cinema walked out at the infamous toaster scene. But I stayed

And by staying I felt my own opinion of myself inflate. Suddenly I was an intellectual. ("The toaster was a metaphor for blahdeeblah")

But everyone is saying that The Sacred Deer yoke is WORSER than The Lobster in terms of 'unsettling-ness'

Here, just avert your eyes for the first four minutes, because after the are-you-joking-me-with-this opening scene it’s really no bother. @BarryKeoghan gives a flawless performance I’d hate you to miss. I like this film better than The Lobster and I really liked that.
