    Just learned about this fire this morning from a friend, which says a lot about how separated everyone is right now. The Elks Lodge is one of my last remaining favorite places in Ann Arbor/my old neighborhood

    The Elks Lodge on Sunset, founded in 1899 by black men denied entry into existing fraternal groups, recently suffered a fire and is raising funds to stay afloat. Please contribute what you can: a thread 1/5

    in all seriousness I think librarians and archivists need to do some guerrilla documenting of this time because so much of it will get erased and forgotten and rewritten

    we're not gonna get a Truth and Reconciliation Commission out of ole Joseph Robinette Biden, but we all have a duty to remember the names of the people who did this. personally I'm starting my list with the Qanon instagram influencers.

    We made it to the end of that raggedy presidency. More than 400,000 Americans did not, including those executed by the Trump administration for no other reason than their need to be as cruel was possible. I am so happy that it’s over. I am so deeply sad that it ever happened.
