Give Ke Huy Quan the Indiana Jones franchise. I have it all plotted out. I wanted John Cho for it because I thought I read that Ke Huy Quan didn't want to act anymore - now that I know that he does - and saw him in the Daniels' flick, give it to him. It makes sense.

It’s Saturday morning, my mom put on salsa music, and I reflexively rose from the couch and vacuumed and swept the entire house without either of us saying a word.

Younger people will never know a magic time when DVD home releases of movies had deleted scenes, director and actor commentary, documentaries, and then when movies started streaming they said “yeah we’re not doing any of that shit anymore.”

People like to talk shit about screen time today as if we were all engaged in some intellectual pursuit as children and not just hitting a tennis ball against a garage until Three’s Company came on

Having not gotten covid yet feels like I've been hiding in the back of a 2+ year long middle school dodgeball game and the front lines have been THINNED

Stay indoors. But also return in person. Wear a mask. Not that one. The expensive one, that you can’t find. Take rapid tests. Which you also can’t find. But if you find them, don’t buy them. Rapid tests don’t work. You need PCR. There are zero appointments in your area.

I buried two relatives Thursday who, despite doing everything right, died from COVID. I spent the weekend with family, hugging and crying and laughing and felt ok. Now it’s just me in my apt and it’s all sinking in and I’m not ok. I’m sad and angry and tired.
