If you wanna be antiracist, an important step is recognizing that systemic racism makes us all complicit in racism, AND even the most well-intentioned antiracist white person will at some point (at multiple points, tbh) fuck up & do/say something that inflicts harm on BIPOC 3/6

2. a lot of people who react so intensely to being called racist are the same group of ppl who argue intensely for their right to tell racist jokes/appropriate other cultures/complain about “reverse racism”/whatever. 5/6

If you switch seamlessly between “it’s just a joke” racial provocations and being offended at being called racist ... imma say you are more concerned with maintaining your power dynamic rather than anything at all about ethics. /fin 6/6
