Due to COVID-19 & the advice being issued by the Government & Public Health England I am changing the way that I work. Going forwards, my work will have to be completed remotely, but there are 3 ways you can easily contact me:

  3. I wrote to to urge Govt support for the Biden global tax reforms. These proposals would give us more than £10 billion of extra tax revenue & help put a stop to corporate tax dodging. It's a no brainer - reform must be high on the agenda when we host the G7 in June

  4. Today I asked the Govt what more they will do to educate communities about Jew-hate & Islamophobia. Discussion and disagreement about an international conflict cannot morph into a national expression of hate

The UK is the only G7 country not to endorse President Biden's plans for a minimum rate of corporation tax. Instead of joining forces to take on the tech giants, the Conservatives are throwing obstacles in the way. They’ve got all the wrong priorities.

Sickening racism. This abuse does nothing but fuel fear, mistrust & division. Pointless and dangerous!

Big developers in Barking & Dagenham are failing to fix the disastrous cladding scandal. Totally unacceptable. Here I name and shame them.

Brilliant questions from on Greensill scandal this afternoon. Here we have a former Prime Minister who, like the current PM, is completely at ease with the huge revolving door at Whitehall

I'm appalled that yesterday on Radio 4, the Universities Minister Michelle Donelan explicitly stated that Holocaust denial would be protected under new campus free speech proposals. Today, I raised a Point of Order in the house: Holocaust denial should never be protected speech.

In the 2019 election, there was just one conviction for voter fraud. 3.5 million British citizens do not have a photo ID. This is a cynical and ugly attempt to rig the system to disempower the poorest and most marginalised groups.
