Hey 👋 I have created a tool to generate and maintain your Swift frameworks, so you can focus on the things that matter 🙏 Supporting Cococapods, Carthage and SPM while also adding automated release process (soon to be configurable!)

Hopefully, I will get to write more about our story and the benefits of having Xcode projects generated. Right now, we are still iterating on what's best for us, but so far there have not been any big issues that we could not resolve🌟

Can't say how happy I am to finally add xcodeproj to our .gitignore - no more pbxproj merge conflicts, much more clearer xcodeproject settings and *more* fun. is such a delight to use

While I can't wait to finally have my winter exams finished, I am glad that I got to try Lisp and Racket IDE because they are both very interesting - I especially like that when error occurs, Racket shows you visually, using arrows, the stack trace.

TIL 🤯🤯🤯: If you *right* click on the test run button in Xcode's editor gutter you can run that test directly in Instruments!

Over the last year I got to work on bringing fluidity to the Airbnb app. We looked across entire guest side and through critical journeys and established a spatial model of our “canvas” — system (account & camera), map, base and scrim (media + modality).

Which is also why you should use tools such as Swiftlint/Swiftformat, Danger, etc. to make the job of the reviewer as effective as possible.

We run this daily on all of Lyft’s iOS code and it finds dozens of things every. single. day.

I hope you learn something new if you spend the time to watch it, I think it went considerably since it's my first talk ever; excited for more in the future! 🦄

My talk from last week's is up on YouTube - it's about tapestry and how to build maintainable Swift CLIs that are also easy to use

This is so great! Jerry has done some pretty amazing stuff here reverse engineering the communication protocol between Xcode and the build system (binary protobufs) and it lets any build system give progress updates in the Xcode UI!

Really wish to have the knowledge to work with compilers right now, so I don't have to wait for ages for these things to be fixed.

It felt like it should work to have two enum cases with the same name, but different associated values - and it turns out that, in fact, it should be possible but it's a compiler bug ;(

So, this is the smallest sample that still segfaults - if you know what to do with it, let me know!

BTW, the code in the previous tweet compiles just fine without property, so pretty sure the issue is not on my side (and even if it was, still would not expect segfault)

Buut would really like to get to the bottom of this since I kind of need this to work - any assignment to generic property seems to crash; in this case it's assigning nil, but assigning a value does not help either.
