Fully agreed. Recall AMD's Fiji design, in Fury X. HBM innovation, but what matters in a product is for the customer, not the engineers who may feel good doing industry-firsts.. The "simple" Maxwell design from NV, GTX 980Ti, obliterated Fury X.

Some people making the point that RDNA3's chiplet design is an innovation. What benefits and features does the chiplet design offer for customers directly?
