For 20 years I’ve paid higher taxes with less child tax credit and took responsibility for my own choice to have multiple children.Why should taxpayers whose children are grown have to cover other people’s children?We shouldn’t.Just like low tax states should not cover high ones.

We have a high school student and a college freshman, so unfortunately we lose the benefit of the child tax credit. What’s disturbing to me is if the personal exemptions are eliminated, my family of 4 will go from the proposed 12% tax bracket to the proposed 22% tax bracket.

How about while cutting the corp tax rate also cutting the loopholes so they pay what they actually owe? How about no tax cut for wealthy individuals and instead give the cuts to middle class and let them keep their deductions? They're the ones who need a break

Absolutely. Plus, to try to get this pushed through, they LOWERED the percentage for the highest earners tax bracket. This is a redistrubution of wealth. Not a tax break. Plain and simple.
