America should always be a nation that offers asylum to those fleeing oppression or tyranny
But asylum isn’t a right, it’s generosity
It’s wrong for those seeking generosity to complain it’s taking too long & indefensible for any of them to protest by throwing rocks & bottles

Although can’t compare to the plight of those running for their lives, I hope you do reflect on this image. We should do better than this now.

Although you’ve lied about their alleged plight from Cuba to the US, your own parents came to America seeking a better life. You’re erring on a very dangerous side of history, one that, in your lies, propelled your parents to flee their own country. You’re a disgrace to immigrants

Thank god there were fewer Marco Rubios when the Rubios were immigrants.

You mean the Rubio who claimed his family fled Cuba to escape Castro but actually did so two years before Castro came to power? That Rubio? That paragon of immigration virtue?

Asylum is globally recognized as a basic human right. The U.S. is tear-gassing refugees to deprive them of that right, and you support it.

Matthew 25:35
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

Not only are you wrong as a matter of international law, you're astonishingly obtuse on moral grounds. We've subverted democracy in Central America for a century. How broken does a person have to be to frame taking responsibility for decades of imperial meddling as "generosity"?

“Throwing rocks and bottles” the same bs line that Israel uses to justify shooting kids and women 😶
