#Broward supervisor:
- says she doesn’t know how many ballots are left to be counted; &
- Isn’t reporting hourly or regularly, but rather releasing thousands of additional votes, often in the overnight hours, that are chipping away at GOP leads

#Broward elections department has a history of violating the law: A court found they improperly handled votes by mail: https://www.politico.com/states/florida/story/2018/08/13/judge-sides-with-florida-gop-in-absentee-ballot-dispute-with-broward-county-555553 … Court found they destroyed ballots in 2016 in violation of state & federal law: https://www.politico.com/states/florida/story/2018/05/14/florida-to-monitor-broward-election-chief-after-judge-finds-unlawful-ballot-destruction-in-wasserman-schultz-race-415832 …#Sayfie 3/6Show this thread -
A U.S. Senate seat & a statewide cabinet officer are now potentially in the hands of an elections supervisor with a history of incompetence & of blatant violations of state & federal laws. Read Here: https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/broward/article220841135.html … 5/6

Last time I checked you belong to a party that supports that dementia infused pineapple in the Oval Office. So you don’t get any points for integrity or honesty.

If God is for you who can be against you? Since our
@POTUS was annointed by God there is nothing you can do to change the outcome.#GodWins#StopTheSteal - 1 more reply

You're being disingenuous. Count all the votes. They might go your way (or they might not). Still voters deserve to have their voice heard and their decisions respected.
-
Agreed, but voters who don’t exist don’t deserve to have a voice. Or does that not matter?

The more I read this thread
@Briscaloosa the less impressed I am with it. Does he want all the votes counted or not? Is he just complaining? -
-
I get he’s arguing they have a history of not following the rules, but in both of those instances they are not related to the actual counting and reporting of votes. One is about destroying votes after an election and the other is about opening mail too early.
-
That’s a mischaracterization. Yes the ballots were destroyed technically after the election, but during an ongoing lawsuit regarding the handling of those votes. That’s a situation very similar to this one, as we are past the election but Scott has filed a lawsuit.
-
Sorry, that is not correct. The period we’re in is not after the election as in the case with DWS. The results have not been certified.
-
Assuming that’s correct (I haven’t seen anything to confirm or deny it), it’s largely inconsequential. The law was knowingly violated according to a judge, and votes were purposely mishandled. All while there was an ongoing lawsuit with the intention of seeing the ballots.
-
There’s a huge difference. The integrity of the result was maintained. Yes, they violated the law by burning ballots after the election, but the will of the people was honored and respected. It’s not remotely the same. This is an ongoing election to define the winner.
-
Well no the point is that we don’t know if the will of the people was truly honored, because when a candidate requested to see the ballots, they were destroyed. Not saying I believe he would’ve won (I don’t), but it’s not at all an unreasonable argument to make.
