@marcoarment You just have to use the app to remove a computer; doesn’t have to be running on the computer you’re removing.

@marcoarment Worked for me just fine about two weeks ago when I removed two computers I hadn't owned for months. -

@marcoarment Carbonite also remembers old computers, and you can’t remove them though the files are removed after 30 days. -
@marcoarment Install crashplan on new computer. “Adopt” old computer. Delete computer from account. -

@marcoarment I had the exact same issue. Resorted to creating a GMail filter for the you-need-to-backup emails. Their support was useless.
