same developer as 1Blocker for iOS?
Switched from Ghostery to 1Blocker for macOS Safari, which uses the fast new content-blocking API, and it seems noticeably faster.

I realize it's not necessarily fair to blame Safari Tech Preview, could be a conflict with other extensions or a beta macOS issue

Okay. El Capitan or Sierra? What version of STP? Do the extensions show up in the prefs, and are they enabled?

Sierra, STP Release 15, Extensions show up and are enabled but have no effect on ads that do get blocked in normal Safari

a couple of blocked urls, which also are not blocked

Mind sharing them to us so we can troubleshoot? They may contain invalid regex syntax which breaks the whole engine. Thanks
