Neither the $5-once IAP nor patronage-for-nothing were justifying much continued investment. Patronage-with-perks is doing better so far.

@marcoarment people go apeshit for dark themes and now the patronage feels like a subscription for a dark theme to a lot of people. -

@marcoarment Showed people Overcast (paid). They loved it but wouldn’t buy it. Free plus patronage for perks, they’re in. And paid. Weird. -

@marcoarment also, I use overcast everyday. I don't remember a notification about patronage, otherwise would have supported sooner -
@marcoarment part of this might be an awareness thing: I had no idea there were new patronage levels. I just upped to a year, feels great! -
