        @marcoarment I wish conferences sold a streaming/video pass. I’d pay for something I can’t travel to to watch the talks.

        Streaming really defeats the whole purpose of conferences: meeting & greeting in person.

        There’s one more thing I’d say has killed my interest in conferences and that is seeing the same people giving talks on topics that they don’t master, that hurts the appeal after you’ve seen them fumble a couple of times on stage

        You need a good speaker to give a talk. Often, the masters of the topic aren’t that great at presenting it.

        Each conference should have fish bowl type of breakout sessions, where people can just chat. A big problem with iOS conferences is that it consists of same speakers. iOS conferences lacks diversity and freshness. Give chance to new speakers and even different speakers.
