As a media professional, that price is hard to swallow. At a min I'd have to upgrade the RAM, GPU and get the afterburner card to edit most RAW content for TV production work.

Are they listening to professionals who need NVIDA graphics to do their work? It's hard to call this machine "obscenely upgradeable" if pros can't use the GPU of their choice in those standard PCI slots. Just saying.
