I was a sponsor of the first tax cap and so many - from both sides of the aisle - worked together to deliver a permanent cap. Yes, there must be relief but making this permanent will help all property taxpayers. #ThankYou

Tax caps only strangle school districts and small Upstate communities out of existence. Slowly. Mandate relief whatever. They’re still around.

The cap is just smoke and mirrors. Municipalities will be forced to vote to override in order to pay for Cuomo's promiscuous spending and mandates.
