Never. Ever. Even if it breaks up this friendly relationship...will I concede that lima beans deserve anything other than culinary exile. (Succotash, for some odd reason, an exception. Go figure.)
I've had an aversion to lima beans since I was a child, but have long relished most other kinds of beans, which really don't taste much different. Useful reminder that our preferences tend not to be rational.
