I agree. I tell law students to remember they are counselors at law. In practice I used my social work skills and knowledge as often as my legal skills and knowledge. Intentionally adding so-called soft skills to law school curriculum is a must.
Dealing effectively with a legal problem often requires more cognitive and emotional bandwidth than people can muster, even with the help of technology. Machine intelligence is best served with at least a side helping of human warmth.
