Everyone is entitled to be wrong sometimes. But good journalist practice is to refer to people by the name they wish (Jim vs James). Shouldn’t that apply to events as well?
When I see people post about TechShow, I assume it’s their 1st one or they d/n pay attention to details.

I see what you're trying to say, but I don't think ignoring event naming conventions should be viewed as personal affronts. Events aren't people. Required all caps makes the name harder to read & even easier to misspell. Accurate spelling is more important than caps rule to me.
