Published 2 years after Casson discovered Henry Neville’s library of numerous books long known to have been sources for the Shakespeare canon (and many annotated). I presume this forms a major part of the book? I’ve not read it yet.

Very very little information on Audley End or the annotations in the books. The book is so incredibly bad.

Kells does not even have the most basic understanding of any of the issues involved. This is the most misinformed thing I have ever seen in any book on Shakespeare. No one, Stratfordian or anti-Stratfordian, can take him seriously.pic.twitter.com/b34feJGcvi

He is an expert on Shakespeare, has been studying him for more than 20 years. And he is an expert on antique books and libraries as well. Probably your extravagant theories collapsed with reality and that’s why you don’t want to take him seriously
