My understanding is people manipulate the setting to get the result they want and then cherry pick what they like. There is so much important research undone, to me this seems like the least important research direction.

1/2 In my exp. any text in a grid will produce short acrostics. & it's very easy to create your own. BUT, NEVILLE IS RIMER is the biggest I've seen -very unusual- & Sonnet 134 is full of meaning. Less likely are longer ones in short text like the dedication, e.g. HENRY & MrSIR.
