  Probably lots of forces at work but I wonder if this has ALREADY happened wrt Fortune 500 consumption of legal services. Resources like computerized databases make legal research easier, but consumption goes way up. OTOH increase in regulations may be exogenous to this.

  I used the Jevons paradox when chairing a legal tech conference earlier this year, but it didn’t appear to be a lightbulb moment for those attending. Need to be very patient on this one
