If Congress doesn't pass the voting rights acts, the Build Back Better act will not be worth the paper it's written on.
If anyone tells you that our democracy will be protected, and election subversion prevented, simply by "fixing" the Electoral Count Act they are either uninformed or acting in bad faith. Don't be fooled, Congress must pass the Freedom to Vote Act and John Lewis Advancement Act.

Democrats need to say it loud & often, "Republicans don't want American citizens voting." Period. They have NOT won the popular vote since 2004. The numbers aren't on their side. Dems have to gain seats during the midterms. We're on borrowed time & our luck won't last much longer

We are so bad at messaging. The GOP repeat their talking points ad nauseum but it sticks. We need messaging discipline. Of course, having a propaganda outlet (actually 3 ) helps too. Also? Chuck Schumer doesn't have the killer instinct that we need in there fighting for us.
