      Does this survive Opus compression? It has a 3Hz highpass filter to get rid of DC bias.

          A quick encoding to MP3 didn't blow it away, possibly some compression breaks it. But not MP3

          Opus is pretty much the only codec that I know of that explicitly removes DC.
