      *Gets paged* What now. Server's down. The other server next to it is down too. *nmap* So the whole subnet is down. *traceroute* Fails to route after 2 hops from multiple vantage points. BGP? *Checks BGPlay* Oh, the ISP stopped announcing the prefix entirely. Okaaaay then.

      I mean, who knows, for all I know the entire datacenter is on fire and that's why BGP just went down for that prefix.
