I've been chasing a Spanish company to pay me an invoice for 10 months. They concept of other countries having invoice formats different from Spain's eludes them. It's been 7 revisions and now they're asking about why I did what they asked me to do in a prior revision.

Latest: "You need to include your Japanese tax ID number". Japan doesn't have tax ID numbers (for invoicing purposes).

Do that. And every two weeks send a reminder and add 20€ administration fee. After the third time send a written waring from a lawyer and add the lawyer costs to the invoice. AFAIK this is the standard procedure in EU.
