I want to not be restricted to ssh to publish (as Hugo forces me), and keeping a server up to date for WordPress is... Bothersome. I want to focus on content rather than dreading the setup.

Don't we need to run the Hugo command to copy the static files from the project folder to the content folder ? How did the static file get automatically copied ? Is there a script that always build Hugo ?

There's a git hook to run hugo on push.
