It sounds pretty good actually. I don't think I could tell the difference between the sound coming from the Pi, than the sound coming from my iPhone.

Mind you, this is the 3B+, I have not tried the other Pis. I have the DAC pHat on my pi zero w, and it also sound very good.

Okay, I take that back, the sound on the Pi is worse than the iPhone. The sound from the Pi with the DAC hat, is of equal quality.
