Hey people who know things about hardware glitching: if I want to fiddle with reset pc control would I want to mess with Vcc in addition to RESET or might RESET alone be sufficient? I have a setup that I could easily throw analog voltage at RESET with, but not Vcc.

Depends entirely on the target. Reset glitching and Vcc glitching are different things. One might work where the other one doesn't. With glitching you usually want to have very good timing control, though sometimes all it takes is tapping wires together.

This would be an AGB-CPU in 5V mode, though I discovered my ADC is 3.3V so it probably won't work too well :/

Usually for reset/clock glitching we're talking about sub-clock-period glitches, digital rather than analog. Analog isn't likely to make it very far into a chip, other than it potentially being converted to a less than clean digital signal.

For pure reset glitching you might just try to insert a short pulse at the right timing. Just try. Perfect clock synch or extremely short pulses may not be required. Timing might be not even relevant (i.e. a waiting loop). For such cases simple equipment may suffice.

Bigger chips can require long reset pulses (e.g. PPC750, which is how we glitched the keys out of the Wii U purely in software) if they have clocked reset state machines, but something like a GB/GBA CPU is likely to fully reset in one or two clocks at most, if not much less.
