Hey people who know things about hardware glitching: if I want to fiddle with reset pc control would I want to mess with Vcc in addition to RESET or might RESET alone be sufficient? I have a setup that I could easily throw analog voltage at RESET with, but not Vcc.
Yeah, I've been meaning to experiment with the CGB transition too. You can switch from AGB mode and configure a custom scaling matrix that gets used for the CGB screen. I really want to know if any interaction is possible between ARM code and 5V GB carts.

All the tests I've done to use ARM code on the 5V cartridges have failed. Even using a shin to prevent the GBA from rebooting into 5V mode yielded nothing but floating reads (and yes I used the SRAM range so signaling might actually work; the ROM range is a different protocol)

What about the opposite? Using 8-bit code on a 3.3V cartridge? Ages ago someone managed to actually confirm that the "reboot into CGB" SWI indeed works and can even be used on the GBA micro, but apparently the cartridge "didn't work". Unfortunately there were no scope traces.
