It may be because you're inside looking out rather than outside looking in. It's kinda like the folks at Leipzig putting up a libertarian/altright flag while proclaiming themselves left wingers. It still got me to figuratively crap myself out of the conf.
Could be. I'm just surprised it'd get that negative of a reaction. I know it's a stupid old meme, I'm just having trouble finding a significant association with that particular undesirable segment of society.

Are baseball caps uncool now, or is the design just too close to a Trump campaign ad? At some point it's a feedback loop, isn't it? If reasonable people concede usage of $whatever to undesirables, then it exacerbates the problem.
