What would you suggest they do, just leave it at 100?
I suggest they actually get broadcom to build a chip that isn't a crappy 10 year old design with new-ish CPU cores bolted on top.

Not very expensive if you're making a new chip anyway. It's not like Broadcom doesn't have Ethernet and xHCI IP cores lying around from their other chips.
