@marcan42 you know ffado right? Any experience with Focusite Pro 40 cards beingly glitchy? Asking for a friend.

Define glitchy. Note this: http://www.ffado.org/?q=node/3377 . IIRC the chip they were using (Dice II) got EOLed and the newer ones (Dice III) aren't properly supported yet; my Pro 26 which I wrote ffado support for still uses the old DiceII/Jr chip.
It's *probably* not rocket science to add support for the new generation, but it's one of those finding someone with the hardware and reversing skills and time to get it done things (and docs from Focusrite would help).

If you're *not* talking about that specific problem (it's the older model Pro40) but rather general issues with the mixer or whatever I may be able to help. TL;DR is 2.4.0 is pretty broken as is (on Qt5/Py3) but with the patches in Portage it works nicely for me.
