I mean, real talk, I used to be really big on Nvidia, but between the Nvidia architecture flaws in the switch and this nonsense, idk where I stand anymore.

Replying to @hedgeberg @Lyviaff
Life has been great ever since I ditched the bumblebee and blob driver nonsense and switched to Nouveau. Not an option for newer cards, sadly. This is why Nvidia *still* deserves the finger.

I dunno if I take the same stance personally, as desktop-card-wise I still prefer them over AMD, but who knows if that's justified or how long it will last. Im fine with bumblebee tbh, integrated gfx is fine for just about anything I need to run.

NVIDIA lost me as a customer when they started boobyyrapping drivers for their consumer cards if it could detect being run in a VM. I know there are workarounds, but they made a conscious decision to screw us - therefore

Wait, what? They block driver execution in VMs? That's some honest-to-god bullshit.

Currently rocking a Ryzen 1800x and Vega 64 and could only be happier if I had

I'm on a junkbox GPU though, waiting for craptocoins to crash. For now it's compite-only :P
