It’s 2018 and you can run Crysis on integrated graphics, but Linux still can’t play two sounds at the same time on anything.

I must be lucky I guess. It was hell when OSS was king, but when ALSA took over stuff just worked on my computer. Then pulseaudio came and broke everything in the early days. I gather it's better now but I'll stick with my working ALSA stack. At least it's better than WDM
Yes, PA sucked in the early days, but then Lennart moved on from PA and started systemd instead. Now it's good ;)
