What's up with people calling the iBoot leak the "biggest leak in history"? Have people forgotten of when Windows NT/2000 leaked? Or when Half-Life 2 did? Come on, this is fun and all, but it's a bootloader. Any *serious* iOS researcher better have it fully reversed by now.

Well, that one time I RE’d iBoot, I got pretty far, but nowhere near the level that would make source redundant. But then I didn’t spend that much time on that…

I mean, source always helps, but the more time you spend on the binary the less of a difference it makes... and people have had a lot of time to reverse iBoot.

yeah but there are numerous revisions, surely there's still work to do

Of course, it's an incremental process, but I figure people have had time to catch up and mostly keep up :). All I'm really saying is yes, this is nice and all, but if this results in some sudden explosion of jailbreaks it means jailbreakers haven't been doing their job.
