I'm finding the endless "fail0verflow never releases anything" talk rather tiring. It seems the 5 years we spent basically running the Wii homebrew scene (as Team Twiizers) and releasing everything didn't exist. Also https://github.com/fail0verflow .
That's the problem. There's always people interested in writing software. The question is whether there's people interested in (and capable of) reverse engineering and writing libraries and frameworks. Increasingly, the answer is no. Without those, all you get is piracy.
