I'm finding the endless "fail0verflow never releases anything" talk rather tiring. It seems the 5 years we spent basically running the Wii homebrew scene (as Team Twiizers) and releasing everything didn't exist. Also https://github.com/fail0verflow .

To who should we have released them? The pirates? Because we *did* release them to a large number of trusted veteran Wii developers, and we had an open offer for other interested people, and we had some suggestions of things people could work on to spur interest. We got crickets.

Had the Wii U policy been in place for the Wii, where would these "trusted veteran Wii developers" have come from in the first place? GameCube?
