If any one happens to have a Threadripper CPU handy (not installed), can you tell me if the caps on the bottom beep out as near-shorted across opposite pins? (across, not diagonal since those seem to be connected together). I get 0.3Ω or so, which is not *totally* unreasonable...
@der8auer might be able to check one of his? I'm wondering if mine is shot or that is just quiescent leakage... at ~1V vcore that's just about 4W after all, which could mean my CPU isn't actually dead after my mobo fried itself.
