Honestly, I don't find this kind of tool very useful. Yes, it minimizes the effort to *start*, but it only takes a few lines of python to send a USB xfer anyway and you'll want to start adding logic and data formatting soon enough. Manually typing requests gets old fast.
Maybe it's just me but I find a text editor and python to be a superior UI for this kind of exploration than anything point and click. Even a REPL isn't very good for anything beyond one-liners.
