Bitcoin consumes 4,000,000,000 W of power to process four transactions per second. A single Raspberry Pi with a database can do an order of magnitude more on 5W. Think about that next time you wonder if it's a good design.

use segwit? idk about you but all my TX are confirmed in less than 6 blocks, paying less than 4 bucks.. Batching UTXO's really helps. Segwit TX's are a thing.
Meanwhile VISA payments go through end-to-end in seconds and transaction fees start at something like 10 cents.

You still don't get it. Bitcoin is **not worth it**. It is categorically a broken design that will never be a global value transfer system. It is a *failure* at its stated goals. Ditch it already and look into whatever altcoin does things better.
