I just spent 6 hours figuring out how to update buggy, data-eating SAS disk firmware on an HP ProLiant server. This is ridiculous. Get your shit together, @HPE.

Which isn't supported on older servers. And what if I'm not even using HP hardware? What if I have their drive on a non-HP controller? Why can't they just release a firmware file for use with standard tools or standalone bootable updater like *every other HDD manufacturer*?

Lee mis respuestas a otro tweets.
