No, it is not. Fire alarm is very sensitive to smoke produced by burning flux. In case of fire alarm in a public place like the CCL, the for department will be alarmed automatically.
There is absolutely no way small-scale use of soldering irons in a large event space will set off fire alarms. The smoke is completely diluted by the time it makes it up to the ceiling. I've soldered in many small rooms with fire alarms before and never set one off.
